To all patients and visitors: In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, upon arrival at the UHC, we ask that you please call (301) 314-8157. A UHC medical staff member will gather additional information and may greet you at the door. All individuals entering the UHC will receive an initial temperature and health screening before entering the lobby.

Coronavirus:

The University Health Center is actively monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19.   Effective March 18th, 2020, Individuals without an appointment will not be allowed into patient care areas until further notice. Students present in the building should provide for social distancing spaces between themselves and other individuals. Cash and credit card payments are also temporarily suspended as a safety measure. All charges will be applied to student accounts.

Our Staff and Facility

The University Health Center was founded in 1901. We continue to be proudly accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care for over 30 years. The Human Rights Campaign has also designated the University Health Center as a Leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality, and are Green Office Silver level certified. 

Our 50,000 square foot facility is home to clinical, behavioral health, sexual misconduct resources, complementary and alternative medicine, health promotion and wellness, and ancillary services including pharmacy, x-ray, physical therapy, and lab, among other services and programs.

The University Health Center is staffed by over 100 diverse college health and wellness professionals who serve a myriad of student, staff and faculty needs.
