Nutrition Coach

Major and Expected Graduation Year:

I am a double major in Dietetics and Biological Sciences, and I plan to graduate in the spring of 2028.

Reason for Studying Dietetics:

I chose dietetics as my major because I was curious about the science regarding what foods to eat to promote well-being. I also plan to go to medical school and believe that nutrition is an important aspect of health, commonly overlooked by physicians.

Favorite Food:

My favorite food is Kalam pollo, a traditional Persian dish that consists of rice, cabbage, and small meatballs! It is a nostalgic meal for me, and I love the crispy rice (tahdig) for an added crunch!

Words to Live By:

“Happiness is to be found along the way, not at the end of the road.”
