Educational History
Dr. Kelly attended Howard University graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 1996. She then furthered her education completing a Master of Science in Medical Sciences at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN in 1998. Dr. Kelly earned her medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2002. From there, she entered and completed residency training in Baltimore, Maryland at University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) in Emergency Medicine in 2005. With this expertise and training, she has worked in various emergency departments, urgent care centers, and occupational health centers in Maryland, becoming a medical director within the specialty of occupational medicine in her previous employment.
Professional Interests/Specializations
Dr. Kelly's professional interests include urgent care medicine with publication in the Journal of Urgent Care (JUCM) in 2019. She is certified as a DOT medical examiner by the National Registered Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) by the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA) since 2013.
