Business Manager

Kate is a proud first-generation Korean-American and University of Maryland alumna—Go Terps!—she holds a B.A. in Communication Studies and an M.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management.

With nearly 20 years of experience in event management, logistics, and operations, Kate has a strong background in finance and budgeting. Most recently, she managed national community fundraising events for the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, ensuring efficiency and fiscal accountability.

Kate is a passionate advocate for health and wellness, with a focus on endometriosis and colorectal cancer awareness. She also teaches the Beginning Yoga course as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland’s School of Public Health, Department of Kinesiology.

Outside of work, she enjoys walking, exercising, cooking with her boyfriend, exploring local restaurants, knitting, arts and crafts, gardening, fishing with her dad, learning new languages, practicing chess on Duolingo, relaxing, and spending time with family and friends.
