The Laboratory processes a wide variety of test requests from University Health Center providers and, for a nominal administrative fee, from non-University Health Center medical providers. Some tests are performed in the laboratory and some are sent to designated reference laboratories.
Before You Visit
Please call 301.314.8184 to schedule a time to visit the lab. When you call, please be prepared to verify your insurance and demographic information with one of the Appointment staff members. You may also be asked to upload a picture of your health insurance card to the Health Center's patient portal or to email it to uhc-registration@umd.edu
