Student Involvement
The University Health Center supports the experiential development and learning of student interns, peer educators, and volunteers.
Some students receive academic credit through their college/university for completing internships or serving as a peer educator while others, are encouraged/required to complete a specified number of service hours in order to place into competitive programs after graduation (such as dietetic student interns). Internships, peer programs and volunteer experience supports the development of highly competitive candidates for professional placements after graduation.
