As an Assistant Coordinator for Prevention Education, Lucy develops and facilitates programming for the campus community, along with instructing the Peer Education course. Lucy graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy with a concentration in Culture and the Environment and a minor in Spanish Language, Culture, and Professional Contexts. During her time in undergrad, she worked with our office for two years: as both a Peer Educator and Step UP! Educator. Lucy is deeply passionate about social justice and believes that education is key to building a safer, kinder future. Through her role with CARE, she is focused on reaching a more diverse range of the campus community and improving overall engagement. Lucy is a skilled facilitator and loves working with our undergraduate Peer Educators as they begin to explore their educational pedagogies.
