Nate Burke
As Assistant Director, Nate Burke oversees all functions of the CARE to Stop Violence office, including Clinical, Advocacy, Education, and Outreach. Nate also Chairs the University's Sexual Assault Prevention Committee. Prior to coming to the University, Nate served as the project manager for the United States Air Force's international implementation of sexual and domestic violence prevention curricula and worked for two local non-profit organizations on issues of power-based violence prevention in the Greater Washington area. Nate earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2009, master's degree from Bowling Green State University in 2011, and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Maryland, College Park. Nate also served six years as a higher education professional, advising fraternities and sororities, student clubs and organizations, and student leadership initiatives.
