Jeanily Cruz, MSW, LICSW, LCSW-C (she/her/ella)
Jeanily (genie-lee) identifies as Afro- Boricua and her pronouns are (she/her/ella). She has worked in community mental health for the past decade, in a variety of settings. She comes from a psychotherapy group practice in Maryland where she provided Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for clients 13 and older. Previous to this, she worked at Children's National Hospital in D.C, child protection, and other community mental health agencies in Massachusetts. Jeanily has an MSW from Simmons University where she specialized in Trauma and Interpersonal Violence and a B.S. in Psychology and Juvenile Justice from Wheelock College, both in Boston, MA. Jeanily centers her work on culturally responsive and affirming care for marginalized groups. She pulls from neuroscience, Buddhist psychology, and mindfulness in her approach to therapeutic work. Jeanily loves music, meditation, and anything involving the outdoors!
