Dear Campus Community,
Your health and well-being are our top priorities. We want to make you aware of recent reports of body lice found in a limited number of campus locations. The University has taken immediate steps to investigate and treat affected areas, so that our campus remains a safe and comfortable environment for learning and living.
Appointments
The Health Center operates primarily on an appointment-based system. We strongly encourage patients to make an appointment before they arrive.
Alumni and Visitors
The University Health Center primarily serves the University of Maryland population. Alumni and visitors are eligible to use some Health Center services.
Alumni and visitors are encouraged to make appointments with their own Primary Care Physician (PCP), especially for routine services and continuing care.
